TURKEY MEATBALL SUBS

Yields 4 subs with 4 meatballs each at 476 calories each.

INGREDIENTS

  • Hoagie rolls of choice, mine were 6sp

  • 1lb lean ground turkey

  • 1 packet frozen chopped spinach

  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2 tbsp italian seasoning

  • Garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to taste

  • Homemade zero point marinara or favorite jarred sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix all ingredients together and form into 1 inch meatballs, mine made 15 total.

  2. Add into the marinara and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours until meatballs are cooked through (I did mine for like 9 hours and it was okay lol!)

  3. Add your meatballs and sauce to your roll and broil in the oven for 2 to 3 minutes until cheese is melted and the bread is lightly toasted.

  4. Dip in ranch, obviously.
